Deiket on the prowl...

Deiket, again dressed in her black mission gear, snuck undetected out of her room, her arms full of toilet paper, shaving cream, and extra hold glue. She had her suspicions as to who replaced her sugar with salt and ruined her relaxing cup of tea, not to mention the purple dye incident involving her beloved horse, but who said that they should be the only ones to reap her revenge?

She had to commend herself on the Codename plot. She's been hearing screams of outrage coming from almost every room since the switch had been made, and it had taken Birkoff hours to get through all of her firewalls and traps. Now was the time for her ultimate prank, though.

She stopped by van access and pulled some string out of a small corner "Good. Just where I left it!" she muttered to herself. She then checked all of her various water guns to make sure that they were all loaded and ready before proceeding to Comm Central.

~~~~~~~
Deiket stepped back to admire her handiwork. So far, nobody had shown up and ruined her little surprise. Mentally, she ran through what she'd done. Let's see, there was the super glue on all of the keyboards and chairs, rubber Oreo's at Birkoff's station, shaving cream smiley faces on every monitor, the chairs were also super-glued to the floor. The Observation Deck had toilet paper and string and shaving cream dripping off of it, and every door was rigged with a water gun poised and ready to drench anyone who walked in. "Hehehe. Nobody messes with my tea!" she said aloud as she scampered back to her room, careful not to trigger any of the water guns.
~~~~~~~

Back in her room, she sat down at her laptop with a mug of sugar-and-salt-less tea. She sent a communiqué out to all of the jokesters letting them know that she would be unable to debrief along with them at midnight. Another urgent mission had come up. Of course, it could just be another prank, but better safe than sorry. She settled back in her mass of feather pillows, took a sip of tea, and grinned.

The black clad op slinked in unseen into the headquarters. it was simple grab the target and leave. There he was standing outside Brenna's room getting ready to knock.

The silent op quickly got out the gun and shot at the unsuspecting Xavier. He crumpled to the floor. The silent op glided across the floor with out a sound checking to see that Xavier was sufficiently tranquilized. Lifting him up securely in a fireman's lift the silent op headed out repelling down the wall with the load. No one person saw silent op shove Xavier in the trunk and drive away.

While the silent op was driving away a message was sent from the panel to Brenna's panel:

i have your man.

come and find him if you can.

The op drove off into the night to an undisclosed destination.

After returning from a short mission Avillion was amazed at the amount of tension in the air at CLHQ. Stopping by Comm, she picked up the latest surveillance reports from Birkoff and was amazed to see how far things had progressed between Rita and Sherry. She tried to think of how she might be able to help, but after a few minutes realized that there was really nothing she could do. She trusted that their friendship was strong enough to overcome this, but in the meantime the aura at CLHQ pretty much sucked.

"Well," she thought to herself, "I may not be able to do anything about the situation, but I can sure as hell do something about the tension!"

As she contemplated what her next PJ should be, she noticed Deiket wandering towards comm. Her eyes flashed with evil excitement as she ran over and pulled Deiket into a corner.

"I saw your horse. I assume you saw mine?"

"Yes, I did," Deiket replied. "Patch in pink looks almost as ridiculous as Coin in purple."

"My thoughts exactly. I've been thinking of a prank to play, but I'll need your help. So what do you say? Care to help me?"

"I would love to! So, what are we going to do?" Deiket replied eagerly.

As Deiket listened to Avillion's plan an evil smile spread across her face...

North went and sat wearily at her desk. First she got glued to her seat thanks to a prank Avi had played on her, then she had to sneak up to her room for a fresh pair of pants. Then having to find a chair that was comfortable. Oh the trials and tribulations of the past were catching up with her. Guess the plan with Rita's diary backfired on North. She did not think that things would have escalated the way they had. Now this and all over the fact that she had made Rita another "Mom".

'But I really didn't have a choice,' North mumbled to herself. 'With Trace leaving us for who knows where what else could I do?' Ah Trace, she was going to miss her and her antics here at CLHQ but understood the reasons why she had to go. Getting out of her reminiscing she picked up the phone. It rang three times before it was picked up. "I need to see you in my office now."

A few minutes later Michael poked his head around the door. "You wanted to see me?"

"Yes Michael, I do." North replied. "Sit down. We have to do something with this stupid feud between Sherry and Rita. Seeing as you are the cause of it I thought I would get your input in how to solve this particular problem."

"North, I have tried and they are both being stubborn. I am at my wits end and I just don't know what to do."

North was surprised by this declaration from Michael. It was rare indeed for him not to have a plan. "I thought that having this PJ day would be a fun time but now I'm not so sure it was a good idea."

Michael shook his head in disagreement. "No I think it was perfect timing. If anything it brought things to a head with those two and by having to deal with it now they are not letting it fester and get bigger. They knew from the start that I would not be exclusive to either one and yet now that is all they fight about. If they do not come to some kind of resolution or agreement I may have to go away from here for a while."

"Michael you aren't serious are you?" North exclaimed. She did not believe for one minute that he would do this.

"Yes Northstar I am. They have to work this out or I will have no choice in the matter. I love them both too much to see this dissension between the two of them."

"Okay, let me think on this for a bit longer and I'll get back to you." North shook her head in frustration. "You are dismissed."

With that Michael took his leave never once looking back.

Curlly opened her eyes after a brief nap to find a small-boxed wrapped in lovely paper on her night table. She notice there was no note, and so assumed that it was Sinjn being his usual considerate self. She eagerly grabbed for the gift, excited to see what he had given her.

She tore the box open to see a lovely pair of black leather glove nestled in the tissue paper.

"Oh how lovely!" exclaimed Curlly. It was a little early in the year for gloves, but she knew they would come in handy in the wintertime. She scrambled to try them on and was delighted to discover that they were a perfect fit. She was admiring the smooth feel of them when it occurred to her that they were fur lined...fur?

She quickly pulled the gloves off, seeking a tag of some sort. She discovered a small one on the inside left cuff, so small in fact that it was hard to read. After several moments of squinting she was able to make out

the words.

"Lining--100% Car fur? Now that doesn't make sense at all," she thought, peering even more closely. Suddenly she gasped, all of the blood drained from her face as she realized her mistake.

"Lining--100% cat fur," she whispered.

Rita was walking back to her room she was in a fury. "I cannot believe this is happening." She was talking to herself and waving her hands in the air. DragonLady popped around the corner and saw her.

"Hey Rita. How are you doing?"

Rita just shook her head. "I am not going to be good company right now. There is just one way this is going to end." She said as she opened the door to her room.

DragonLady followed her in. She was concerned Rita had her mission face on. "What are you planning."

Rita walked into her bathroom and change into her mission outfit. "That it is time for the final discussion."

DragonLady knew she could not let this happen. Especially when she saw Rita in the doorway armed with two guns in each holster.

"Rita this is going to far."

Rita ignored this and walked to her computer. Punching a few keys she found Sherry's location. "I am going to talk to Sherry." She left the room without another word taking the stairs.

DragonLady shook her head, Rita was taking after Michael too much and pulled out her cell phone while she typed at the computer to gather all the CL'ERS for she would need help.

Do Sherry and Rita settle the feud???
